In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, library time will look very different this year. Instead of having students report to the library for book circulation, the librarian will be visiting individual classrooms with a book cart of books that appeal to each individual grade level.
To accommodate the Cohorts A and B schedule, classroom visits will take place on Mondays and Thursdays. The librarian will bring the book cart to the outside of each classroom. Students will be invited individually to review the book cart and make their selections. The librarian will assist students so that the book they select will be the only one that the student will touch.
Returned items will be held for a one-week period before returning the item to circulation.
